Hello you lovely readers, I know this post is very late in the day but I have become a firm believer in better late than never! Plus I have a really good reason for being so late to post and it is still the same day as the prompt so I am really not that late! Anyway the reason this post is so late is because I worked this morning 7:30am until I had to walk to my 11am class and then after class I decided to be really productive and took the clothes that I was getting rid of to Clothes Mentor and then on the way home I was struck with inspiration to stop and get a second quote on how much it would cost to replace my wheels on my bike.
Turns out I still can't afford to put new wheels on my bike so I asked if they knew of somewhere I could donate my bike to so that it didn't go to waste. The guy at the shop was nice enough to send me to The Bike Campaign in Savannah because they will refurbish it and give it a good home. Once I arrived I made a pleasant discovery that not only would they refurbish the bike but it would be going to someone in need via one of two charities. I was floored, I was just looking for the bike to not go to waste but this option was a million times better in my book!! After I crossed that off of my to do list I headed to a scholarship meeting (for a scholarship I then found out I am not eligible for) and was frighteningly reminded that I leave for the Shop.org summit in Philadelphia in about ten days, twelve to be exact. I had a complete freakout because I have nothing printed, no resume, business card, leave behind nothing. And of course I am in the middle of rebuilding my resume. Anyway that's why this post is so late but I found an amazing quote for today so here you go!
It is times like this that I am unbelievably happy I am an avid pinner because all I need to do to gain a little inspiration is take a scroll through all of the inspiring quotes and words of wisdom I have pinned on Pinterest and I know that I will be okay. Or I text my mom and she reassures me that I am doing great and occasionally has some awesome inspiring quotes to post on my Facebook or send to me! Anyway I have a lot of doubts and my fair share of failures under my belt but I am going to accomplish and continue on my way in spite of them! I hope this quote brings a little brightness to your day and know that your failures don't make or break you but they definitely help shape the person you are today, but only you can control if they shape you for good or bad.
